In December 2024, the Open Islands cross-border data SIG officially published the 2024 Cross-border Data Flow Compliance & Technology Whitepaper. As a contributor, STEEDSUMMIT helped author sections focused on three areas: trusted data collection, blockchain-anchored provenance, and cross-border compliance pipelines.
Starting from domestic and international compliance frameworks, the whitepaper systematically maps data-export assessments, trusted-flow technology stacks, and joint pathways for the cross-border data element ecosystem — a reference for practitioners across the industry.
